With the PKK in the Qandil Mountains.

When a journalist bothers to go all the way to the Qandil Mountains (could be last for a while) and speak directly to the Hevalo (Kurdish for friends/comrades) you, more often than not, get a much different article. This one in the Financial Times today is no different. Free (well, almost) from the heavy hand of Turkish psychological labelling you can smell the fresh mountain air and feel the strength and confidence of the Kurdish Freedom Movement.
